Question: Do you think there's such athing as a flow of energy through the ground and all living things ? Something like chakra or chi, a continuous flow of energy
Hmmm I’m not really sure. I have read a lot about the collective unconscious, which is a psychological model proposed by Carl Jung, and I think his theory explains a lot about chakra, chi and manna energy. Since everything is made up of electrons within atoms, I think there is a strong possibility that there is a base flow of energy in all living things. I personally believe in it but that is more due to my own spirituality rather than scientific based knowledge
I’m undecided. The scientist in me is saying that there’s no evidence to back it up. However there’s a part of me that quite likes the fact we can’t always understand and explain things. So as you can’t prove or disprove it then I’ll keep an open mind.
Some people think that living things are connected to the Earth, the mechanism behind this though is the transfer of energy as we eat food that has been grown in the ground that itself has used energy from the sun and the ground to grow. To date, no proof has been provided to support these ideas, and whilst I don’t believe myself, many people don’t need evidence.
I practice yoga regularly and when I attend classes my teachers talk about activating and balancing chakras and asanas. I don’t know if I believe in them as a scientist but I know that during my yoga practice I feel such a sense of calm within me and almost a flow/connection with my surroundings. How to explain this .. I’m not quite sure! What are your thoughts on it?
