Definitely! I think that sometimes the national curriculum can’t cover everyone’s interests, and extra-curricula activities can be a great way to challenge yourself to learn something new! As long as you have enough time to relax and see friends, the more things you can try and learn, the better. I really liked learning guitar whilst at school, and playing in sports teams etc, I think it made me a better person because I was proud of my progress and it gave me more confidence! It’s also a good way to make friends.

They certainly do! There are activities we can do to sharpen up our brain. Playing games like sudoku, scrabble or crosswords can be great for our brains and it’s been said they can keep our brains healthier later on in life. It’s also important to do activities to relax because although it’s important to do brain training it’s just as important to take time out. So for me I love doing sudoku but to relax i like to draw. So to answer your question then yes it’s very important to do extra curricular activities because it keeps our brain healthy and helps with our mental health.
