Hi Macey, it’s a really good question.

I think that no matter how good a surgeon is, we shoukd always know our limitations. I’m very lucky to have lots of supportive colleagues who are more experienced than me. If I’m having trouble in an operation then they always come and help out.

I deal with the pressure by constantly trying to make myself better, by improving my knowledge and my skills. It’s also important to rest well outside of work and have hobbies to help you get away from work too!
