This is a really hard question! Really glad you asked it. So electricity itself can be naturally occurring, and can actually stimulate plant growth if applied correctly! However, it can also cause forest fires and cause avalanches etc when lightening strikes! Plus it scares my dog 🙁
Where we have electricity generated by man, first off we have to generate it! This means drilling for oil and gas (verrrrry bad for the environment), processing the fuel (verrrrry bad), transporting the fuel (verrrrry bad), turning the fuel into energy (verrrrry bad) etc…. Even the infrastructure required for electricity such as power lines, oil filled cables underground etc means we have to dig up the environment to lay the cables! So overall, it’s bad. But the world as we know it couldn’t survive without it!

Erm very difficult to answer. Electricity can be found naturally, like a bolt of lightening. I don’t know about you but I’m quite glad of a good storm when it’s really hot and humid because it clears the air a bit. Saying that I don’t think pylons all over the countryside is good for the environment. So electricity is a bit of both I’d say.
