      The brain DOES have blood! Our blood carries oxygen around the body and the brain uses more oxygen that any other part of our body so it needs lots of it. However, the flow of blood is highly controlled by something called the blood brain barrier. Our brains are very sensitive so we only want the good things our blood carries getting to them – not the bad!
