Lots of bits of our brain join up to control our emotions. There’s a bit right at the front of our head (behind your forehead!) called the frontal lobe that is very important for controlling our emotions and another bit right in the middle of our brain called the amygdala. Sometimes our emotions can be very confusing – have you ever felt happy or sad for no reason? Scientists are still trying to figure out how the different parts of the brain work together.
